Haiti - Security : More information on the Mission of the American military plane of May 3rd 05/05/2024 09:50:57
The plane was carrying civilian contractors who are coming to help erect the installations of the base where the multinational security support mission will reside, coming to assist the Haitian National Police in their fight against armed criminal gangs which control practically 80% of the Port-au-Prince and many other points in the country. Should be noted that this construction of these facilities benefits from the support of the Pentagon. The American Department of Defense recalls that it has committed some $200 million in security materials and equipment to defend the Mission's position.
