Haiti - Passport : Apologies from the Consulate of Haiti in Guadeloupe

The Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in Guadeloupe presents to the Haitian community of the French West Indies and Commonwealth of Dominica its sincere apologies regarding the delays noted in the issuance of passports in recent months.

These delays are caused by a technical problem within the passport production unit at the Haitian Embassy in Washington.

The Consulate also specifies that technicians are working to resolve this problem.

While waiting for the system to be restored and taking into account the need for this document in the context of everyday life, administrative procedures or urgent travel, the Consulate invites compatriots in an emergency situation to send an email to: consulat.haiti -gp@wanadoo.fr with the documents justifying the emergency in order to find, as far as possible, elements of a solution by processing the files on a case-by-case basis.
