Haiti - Football : The Grenadiers join their training camp in Rio de Janeiro
Haitian Football Federation, VIVA RIO and Digicel announced the start this Monday, October 4, 2010 to Rio de Janeiro [Brazil] of the national selection "A" of football in order to undertake a training camp within the framework of the preparation of the selection for the Caribbean Digicel Cup. 
 
 The group left Haiti in the morning for the Dominican Republic before taking a flight in the direction of Rio de Janeiro.

During their stay the national selection will be hosted by the Brazilian Navy in Rio de Janeiro, a program of intensive preparation including several preparation matches are expected. The national team will work exclusively with a staff led by the new National Brazilian coach Edson Tavares.

The selection will then travel directly from Brazil to Trinidad Tobago to compete in the second qualifying round of the Digicel Cup in the group of the host country on 2, 4 and 6 November, the last phase for the award of the title and qualification to the Gold Cup is scheduled from 26 to December 5 in Martinique.
